Wireless was not available in the attic room 41, the check-in time was delayed for 2 hours (because they have only one cleaning lady), the first day the hot water did not work, the parking was not free as I agreed with the receptionist (as an end surprise, I had to pay 1.000 CZK for 2 days of parking), the receptionist was not entirely helpful and the manager of the hotel did not speak English as I was told when I wanted to get in touch with him.
The location is pretty good, not far from the main sights and the shopping centres. Economical.
The room is rather dark because of the poor light. There is no basket for soap and shampoo in the shower cabin - really uncomfortable. The towels were changedd only on request.
Booked a double room bit were given a twin room, not to much of a problem tho
i am not like any thing, very bad breakfast, shower is not clean, not good towel, not any thing good in room and shower i never want stay this hotel in my life
every thing is not good, breakfast very very bad, bread is old,,juice is so bad taste, shower is come bad smell
Free breakfast and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. The bathroom was good - everything worked well. The room was set out nicely and there was plenty of storage space. The staff at reception seemed very friendly and helpful.
Despite the friendliness of the staff, I was missing a pillowcase in my room and asked the lady at reception for this to be attended to. She said she would see what she could do - when I returned a good 10 hours later, there was no change and no pillowcase! The hotel also seemed like it could do with a little renovation - the door to our room was damaged, the light had no cover over it and the ensuite door had a hole where the lock should have been. There was also an empty shower gel sachet in the shower - poor attention to detail when the hotel should strive to give their customers a great experience, regardless of the price. WiFi was also not available. Breakfast was limited but this was to be expected at the cost.
Good experience there. The stuffs are kind of helpful ,but not very friendly they are fair at english at least able to answer our questions in english , that's enough.the room was quite clean, I didn't expect much though. The breakfast was okay for us (also didn't expect much) .What is good and the only reason I stayed this hotel besides its low cost was the location. The tram station is right in front of the hotel or the metro that about 200 meters easily walking distance. For inclusion, I think it worths the money staying there.
A fair central hotel for a reasonable price.
Collosseum hostel is in the center of Prague, and it was the most advantageous point. Most of Tram are in 5 min to walks. Very good point.
I was very surprise to not have any elevator!
This hotel is excellent mid range and very suitable for the young or fit young at heart as it is a 10 minute walk to the bars , sites etc all in all very pleased with the hotel and would advise people to book it ,Rich uk.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with plenty of hot water. good breakfast plenty of choice. Hotel within walking distance of all major sites of interest and of course, shops.I could not fault the hotel in any way it was quaint and traditional no falseness like the chain hotels.
It is very close to shopping center and the Old Town.
The hotel is dirty.
The best thing in this hotel is its location - really great! It's situated within the walking distance to 2 main squares, within easy reach to underground - that is why it's easy and quickly to go to airport by underground and then by bus. In the hotel there is wi-fi and on the 1st flour it worked (I read that it had worked only at the tiny lobby). I enjoyed the breakfast - not very big variety, but the main menu is average to all 3* hotels.
Very noisy - doors always shiver on every move! The room near the stairs is awful - you can hear everybody who decided to go in or out the room!
the rooms were dirty, the bedding is smelly and stained, the staff on reception was drunk and no help, i would never stay at the hotel again, i was a little late getting out and i was charged 200 crown and the man on reception i belive pocketed the money the hotel is a dump but most of all filthy.
i would never recoment this hotel not even to a tramp.
The location was very good.
My room had no hot water for 2 days. The staff refused to move me to another room. I also had no heat in the room depite the fact that it was almost down to freezing at nighttime. They also advertise wireless internet in each room, however the internet on my laptop only worked when in the lobby. Also, even though I was on the back of the hotel which was supposed to be quiet, it was extremely noisy due to the thin walls. There is a restaurant on the backside ground floor that plays loud music; and you can hear every word and sound from the rooms next to you.
It is the worst hotel which I saw in Europe.
